CLEMSON UNIVERSITY SC Hwy 93 Pedestrian Safety Improvements
Clemson, SC
A weather challenged project
Clemson University contracted with Sossamon Construction for the construction of elevated pedestrian walkways, sidewalks, landscaping, site lighting, grand stands, and site walls along three blocks of SC Highway 93 to improve pedestrian traffic flow and safety along this busy stretch of roadway. This project was substantially complete in time for the Clemson vs. Georgia opening football game despite very unseasonably wet weather conditions during the entire project construction timeline.
