The Kings Mountain Energy Center is a 475 MW state-of-the-art natural gas-fired power plant facility in Cleveland County, North Carolina. Sossamon Construction’s scope of work included construction of foundations and slabs, erection of 4 Pre-engineered metal buildings (totaling approximately 24,000 SF), framing and drywall, painting, acoustical ceiling work, floor finishes, overhead doors, doors and hardware, plumbing and electrical for the following:
  • Administration Building
  • Circ Water Chemical Feed Bldg
  • Control Electric Building
  • Water Treatment Building
