Cleveland Park Stream Restoration and Park Renovations
Spartanburg, SC
Maximizing the natural water feature
Renovations to the existing Cleveland Park, included a stream restoration with boulders, boulder walls, rock riffles new walking trails, 2 new timber bridges and a 12,000 square-foot "community build" ADA compliant playground. The entire playground area has a multi color pour-in-place rubberized surface. Another special feature to this project was the fountain that we constructed from a six ton piece of natural granite. This fountain, along with the new playground, were dedicated to the memory of a six year old little boy who lost his life in an accident at the park several years prior to the renovations.
