Sossamon Construction is proud to add the construction of the NEW Indian Land YMCA located in Indian Land, South Carolina to our portfolio. This 68,700 square foot facility incorporates aquatic and fitness facilities which include a heated 8 Lane Indoor Swimming Pool with locker rooms equipped with Saunas. The facility also sports 2 primary basketball courts with an option for 1 official size full court. More indoor amenities include a Group Exercise Room, Yoga Room, Weight Room, Spinning Room, 3 Multipurpose Rooms, a Child Watch Area and a Teen Zone. The building is designed using a combination of load bearing precast concrete, masonry and structural steel. The roof has precast double tees over the indoor pool and structural steel construction overall. The interior finishes include painted precast, masonry, LVT, and wood flooring. The exterior work consists of asphalt parking lots, sidewalks, driveways and outdoor basketball courts and 2 lighted soccer fields.
